A world-class early-years learning experience in Dubai that reimagines the nursery as a nurturing, innovation-led environment for the UAE's Future Collection.
Our approach
The concept moves away from traditional classrooms toward flexible "learning studios," breaking down barriers between teachers and children in favour of a fluid, sociable. environment. A cloud-like architectural form and free-flowing curved surfaces, developed through computational design, create a soothing, safe world for children, while neutral surfaces and embedded child-safe technology let the physical space itself become a silent educator.
Ora, the Nursery of the Future for the UAE Government's Future Collection, replaces traditional classrooms with flexible learning studios built around Leadership, Happiness & Positivity, Advanced Sciences, and Coding Technology. A cloud-like external form and free-flowing curved interiors, realised through computational design, create an immersive space where children feel safe enough to be authentic.

Informed by pediatric neuroscience, the design favours neutral surfaces and child-safe interactive technology over bright colours and screens, allowing children and educators to become the main source of stimulation. At its heart, the Mars Lab community space features a reading cloud, a Sky House, and a Coding Hub, combining traditional play with interactive projection technology.
