Adaptive reuse and expansion of a heritage building within the Al Bait District, transforming it into a flexible, multi-functional events and cultural venue.

Our approach

A sensitive balance between conservation and contemporary intervention, introducing new architectural volumes and a floating roof structure while preserving and celebrating the original heritage fabric.

A heritage-led development that integrates restored traditional architecture with contemporary event spaces, creating a flexible destination capable of hosting both intimate gatherings and large-scale functions.

Inspired by the irregular geometry of the district, the design introduces modern insertions within the courtyard, enhancing spatial capacity while maintaining the authenticity and character of Sharjah’s historic fabric.
